How to transfer my existing Virgin Plus service to a new SIM card


Applies to Monthly plans:

If you've gotten a new Virgin Plus SIM card to replace a lost, stolen or defective card, you need to transfer your Virgin Plus service to the new card. You can do this quickly and easily through My Account.

Before you begin, please take note of the 20-digit number printed on the SIM card.

  1. Using My Account, update your SIM card on your account.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transfer.
  3. Insert the new SIM card into the phone.

Your service has been transferred and is ready to use.


Heads-up! It is not possible for existing Prepaid Members to complete this via My Account.
