Content Availability

  • You can watch TV anywhere in Canada; however, due to content rights, you will not be able to watch it outside Canada.
  • Downloaded video-on-demand content can be watched outside of Canada as long as it was downloaded in Canada.
  • Select live channels and on-demand programming can only be viewed or downloaded if included in your TV subscription and may vary if viewed over Wi-Fi at home (where you can access all the content available) vs. outside your home.
  • To watch live TV programming on a supported TV streaming device (Apple TV, AirPlay enabled devices, ChromecastTM, Amazon Fire TV or Android TV), you need to be in your home while connected to your Virgin Wi-Fi network with unlimited Internet usage. You can watch and download on-demand content on TV devices with any Internet connection.

Using TV with Airplay

  1. Download the TV App on any supported Apple Mobile Device.
  2. To use AirPlay, you require an Apple mobile device and an AirPlay enabled device. Both devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi. If you want to watch live TV programming, both the AirPlay enabled device and Mobile device must be connected to your in-home Virgin Wi-Fi.
  3. Open the TV App and select the “cast” icon in the top right of any screen.
  4. Select the AirPlay enabled device you want to use.
  5. Start playing content on your mobile device.
