Long codes

A long code is a 10- digit number, just like a phone number, which a company uses to send or receive text messages.

In order for you to send and receive messages with that company, you’ll need to opt-in by consenting to receive communication from that company.

Once you sign up for a company specific long code program, you'll receive their related text messages on your mobile phone.

Types of long code programs:

There is only one type of long code program:

1. Standard programs - Messages sent to and received from standard programs will come out of allotted messages in your rate plan or bundle. Otherwise, standard messaging rates apply.
