- Travel Passes are compatible with Roam Sweet Roam. If you are enrolled in Roam Sweet Roam, you will only be charged the Travel Pass rate while in eligible destinations.
- Once your Travel Pass expires, if you have Roam Sweet Roam, you’ll get unlimited talk & text to Canada and within your destination, as well as the data from your plan while roaming, $13/day in the U.S. and $16/day in over 200 international destinations (valid each day until 11:59PM ET). Beyond 5 GB, speeds are up to 512 Kbps for the rest of the day. Otherwise, pay-per-use rates apply.

If you don’t want to use your device while roaming, make sure to turn off data roaming in your device settings and do not make or receive a call or send a text. Alternatively, you can turn airplane mode ON.
If you are in Canada and near the U.S. border, your device can sometimes automatically connect to a U.S. network as if you are roaming. To avoid accidental roaming charges when close to the U.S. border, make sure to turn off data roaming in your device settings and manually select Virgin Plus as your mobile network operator in your device’s network settings.
Note: if you manually select Virgin Plus as your mobile network operator, remember to switch back to automatic network selection to ensure your service will work if you do roam in the U.S. or internationally.
